The idea behind the shop
Why we do this
Originals Zone began with a frustration. Shop for anyone over sixty and you meet two extremes — clinical beige boxes, or bright packaging making claims that would embarrass a doctor. Neither felt respectful.
So we built something quieter. A short shelf of things we would happily give our own parents, described in words that do not need decoding.

What we care about

Nothing here promises to transform anything. We are interested in the unglamorous margins — getting out of a chair, finishing the walk, falling asleep before midnight.
Who shops with us
Written for grown-ups, not for a demographic.
The people who shop with us are in their sixties, seventies and eighties. They have run businesses, raised families and buried friends. Being patronised is not on their list of needs.
That belief shows up in dull, practical ways: readable type, uncluttered pages, no countdown timers, and replies signed by a human being.

Keeping someone for a decade matters more to us than winning one order this afternoon, so a few common tricks of online selling are simply off the table.
We will not invent urgency
No countdown clocks, no phantom stock warnings. The price stands on its own and postage appears before payment does.
We will not argue about returns
Fourteen days to change your mind, longer when something is faulty. Opening the box to look at it costs you nothing.
We will not vanish
One address, one inbox, one small team — and somebody at the other end of it.
